Milestone tracker

Pick your child's age and tick off each skill as it happens. Saved in your browser.

When to act early

The CDC says you know your child best. If your child is not meeting one or more milestones, has lost skills he or she once had, or you have other concerns, act early: talk with your child's doctor and ask about a developmental screening.

How it works

Choose your child's age. We show the CDC checklist for that age and the one before it. Tick each skill as you see it; your ticks are saved in this browser only, never sent to us. Print the list to bring to your child's next checkup.

The CDC milestones show what most children (75% or more) can do by each age. If your child has not reached one or more, has lost a skill, or you are worried, talk with your doctor.
